Teacher Shortage Explored
The teacher shortage is not a new problem, although many people seem to think the issue started with the pandemic. Although the pandemic exacerbated the teacher shortage, this shortage has been decades in the making. Teacher certifications have fallen to historically low numbers.
Unless more people are brought into the talent pipeline through creative means, this challenge will be hard to overcome.
