Becoming a Principal
Indeed lists the traditional steps someone can take to become a Principal:
- Complete a bachelor’s degree in education or another related field.
- Gain a state teaching license and some experience teaching in the classroom.
- Complete a master’s degree in administration.
- Pass state tests to acquire an administrator license.
