We’re proud of the great work we’ve done so far in 2023, which has included solidly planting our feet in education and filling some difficult and niche roles.
One of our most successful client relationships has been with the Franklin County Housing Authority (FCHA), located in Chambersburg, PA. We started working with FCHA last year and have since successfully filled two Fiscal Assistant positions, two Maintenance positions, a Laborer position, and two Bilingual Assistant positions. We are currently working on a Section 8 Manager role.
Ascend Career Services expanded into the education field, hiring paraprofessionals for the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU), which is headquartered in Summerdale, PA. We started by helping the CAIU fill positions with Hilltop Academy and Yellow Breeches Middle School. After filling multiple roles with those schools, we expanded to helping Keystone State Academy and Conewago Elementary. Out of 18 candidates we provided for interview, the CAIU has hired nine.
Our quality and efficiency is making a difference for local organizations. We’re excited to see what other impact we can make in 2023!
